My Music Career Bio

Hi...I'm Kenny Love, and 2010 marks my 20th year as a professional veteran radio and video music promoter, and media publicist. My musician and recording artist clients have been based in the United States, England, Australia, and Italy.

NOTE: By the way...Fellow Literary Writers and Authors can review a few of my literary works at this link.

To continue, I began my music career probably much like you. I started out playing trumpet in the sixth grade through twelfth grade school bands (1970-1976), then attended college in the middle-to-late 1970s as a Music Education major. I also learned bass, piano, and both lyrical and musical composition along the way, as well as vocals.

After college, I served and played in military bands. After leaving the military, I became an independent recording artist in the 1980s. However, prior to becoming an independent recording artist, I was signed with the late notable major label R&B producer Aubrey "Skip" Gravatt, who is credited with having discovered disco queen Evelyn Champagne King. However, the major label deal never materialized due to Mr. Gravatt's untimely death.

I later went on to independently release several single recordings that received both international radio airplay and print media coverage. The crazy thing is, as opposed to how many (if not most) musicians seem to hate "business," I enjoyed promoting and publicizing my music and eagerly embraced it. And, after doing so, I determined that I could assist other musicians and recording artists in these areas who wanted nothing to do with this part of the Music "business."

Interestingly, a short while ago, I received emails from a couple of young deejays wanting to get a copy of my singles who were not even born when I released them.

After having worked a few years in the Music industry as a musician and recording artist who released several recordings that received some international radio airplay and press publicity, I have now worked in the Music business as a radio/video promoter, media publicist, radio station program producer and co-host.

As a radio/video promoter and print media publicist within the Music industry, I represent musicians and recording artists in most music genres. To date, I have represented hundreds of musicians/recording artists who have been based in the United States, Australia, England, and Italy.
